Eskell first opened its doors Sept 1st 2005 in a small Lincoln Park storefront. Fresh out of New York with a degree in Fashion Design, Kelly Whitesell headed back to Chicago with a fresh vision for creating an inspired and meaningful retail experience. The Eskell mission feels even more poignant today as we navigate the challenges of the past few years, but 17 years later our core values still define the vision we started out with in 2005.
Shopping Should Be Fun
At the heart of Eskell is how much we love the thrill of retail discovery. Our thoughtful mix of eclectic design, vintage and one of a kind treasures are how we like to keep things interesting around here. We take a free spirited approach to retail and encourage you to explore our ever changing modern curation of unique quality finds for your home and lifestyle.
We Encourage Personal Freedom
Buy what you love and you will always find a place for it-that is the only rule we believe in. Your style is a personal expression of your true self and we love to encourage our clients to discover new ways of mixing old and new. Eskell's vision of retail therapy happens by thoughtfully collecting pieces we are personally connected to, shaping our life and home into a reflection of who we are. That my friends, is where the happiness lies.
Customer Service Is Kind of Our Thing
We are glad you found us. Take your time, we are offering you an experience. Get lost perusing online. Sink into our couches and look through a book, we don’t mind. We love having a personal connection with our customers. Eskell is a small but mighty team and we pride ourselves on keeping it real. Customer service is a huge part of who we are and we are here to help. Questions about your order or something on our website? Personal shopping or looking for a gift? Do not hesitate to reach out. We are real people here to make you feel perfectly at home.
